I understand the Pittsburgh Steelers have decided to stay in the locker room during the National Anthem, rather than take the field for their scheduled game against the Chicago Bears. Pathetic and sad. I have been a Steeler fan for forty years. I have been American longer. Now I’m told I have to choose between the two. Done and done. #FtheNFL

After blogging for more than a decade on my own personally hosted WordPress site, I’ve been hacked. It would not be entirely accurate to say that all of my content was lost, but enough spam content was dumped into the database, that filtering out the junk is now more trouble that it’s worth. I’m still using WordPress, but from now on, we’ll be letting them manage the back-end. It’s time to admit that creating content and managing the platform may not be mutually exclusive, but doing both makes it difficult to do either very well.
